Question
Hi:

I'm looking for a set of PC speakers that do not have their own power supply or volume control. These speakers should have a 3.5 mm stereo plug that goes into the audio output jack of the sound card.

Where can I find this pair of PC speakers?

Thanks a bunch,

Green

Answer
You can find amp-less speakers just about anywhere.  Try Radio Shack for example.  Most of them have must terminals on the back or some have leads with rca type connections.  You may have to buy a cable or an adapter plug or splice into the included wires that come with the speaker.

Best wishes.

PS:  Not many sound cards have audio power out. Most of them require connections to a powered speaker system.  Better check to make sure you are right about that.
