Question
I have a 2006 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with the Steering Wheel Controls for my Stereo/DVD/Heat controls.  Here lately when I use those controls for my Stereo, things seem to be malfunctioning.  For instance if I press on the down button for the Stereo volume, instead of turning the volume down, it turns it up.  Or if I press on the button that is supposed to move it to the next CD track, it changes it to auxiliary or DVD, etc.

What might be causing this?

I drive a 2005 lincoln aviator i have the same problem a few months in the past
and the radio cd and video swith every time i turn left or right  
so i took it apart cleand it and put it back together
it works it was only bad contact  because it was dirty
