Question
Did everything you told me to do as far as hooking up the Reel to Reel with the EQ to my receiver ......it still will not record and when hooking the EQ through the receiver pre amp and amp bridge connections there was loud noise and the display did not function. Play back on prerecorded tapes work just fine with the EQ working as it should. I'm at a loss.........

Thanks,
JR

Answer
I'm trying to remember if the record function actually works on the reel to reel without any other gear plugged into it? In other words, if you plugged a CD player L&R outputs into the record inputs of the reel to reel, will it record that way?

I'm wondering if you have a bad selector switch on the receiver...

Which display are you talking about that wasn't functioning?

Is it possible to get clear photos of each unit (unplug all cables) so I can clearly read the back & front panels? This is a bit mysterious, and I don't want to give up on you...

If so, you can send them to contact@redneptuneproductions.com. I can get back to you via e-mail instead of this forum.
