Question
I'm thinking of installing a Pyle PLMRA620 6 Channel Marine amp
in my boat.  Do you think this amp will run my 6 speakers great?

Pyle PLMRA620 6 Channel Marine amp
# 4 x 100W + 2 x 250W RMS @ 4 Ohms
# 4 x 250W + 2 x 500W MAX @ 4 Ohms
# 2 x 400W + 1 x 900W MAX @ 4 Ohms Bridged
# 4 x 175W + 1 x 400W RMS at 2 Ohms

2x Polk Audio mm651 (Peak: 400 watts per pair / 200 watts each RMS: 200 watts per pair / 100 watts each)

2x Pole Audio mm691 (power range: 15-125 watts RMS (300 watts peak power)
2x Polk Audio MM1040 DVC Subwoofer (Power 270 watts RMS peak power handling: 540 watts)

Answer
Polk claims their low impedance design voice coils will work with most amplifiers.  But I am cautious.  They are rated at 2.7 ohms which is too low for a 4 ohm amp output.  Long term, heavy usage could be damaging to the amplifier.

The subs are 4 ohms dual voice coil and can be used okey for the 2 ohm amp with the coils in parallel connection.

So, the 2 subs are okey in my opinion.
The mm651 and mm691 are the ones to worry about.  Pyle is a good amp, but you may want to contact with them for their assurance about using the 2.7 ohm Polk speakers!

Sorry for the bad news.
