Question
I just purchased a 2001 Lincon Navigator which contains an Audiovox DVD player. The Stereo system was upgraded to a JVC cd receiver. The number on the manual book for the receiver is KD-AR560/KD-G510. The DVD player will play the DVD's but there is no sound. I pugged in head phones yet it did no good. How can I concect the DVD player through to the upgraded sound system?

Answer
You must select external or aux in from the front panel.

If you are connecting the dvd audio from the dvd to either front or back you need:

from the manual, page 29,
You can connect an external component to the
CD changer jack on the rear using the Line
Input Adapter KS-U57 (not supplied), and
another to the AUX (auxiliary) input jack on the
control panel.

Maybe that will help you with a good solution.
