Audio Systems/SYMPHONIC TV WILL NOT COME ON

Question
My tv was on and then it shut off.  I tried to turn it back on
and get no picture or sound except for the click sound when it turns on. Is there some way to reset it?  Thanks

Answer
The click sound means it is not turning on due to the protection circuit which is protecting the set from something that is potentially damaging to the set.

It is usually, although not always, a problem inside the power supply and requires testing in order to find out what has failed.  The cost of repair depends on the model - but you did not provide a model number........

If you need more please give the model number in your followup question.

PS:  A reset is done this way:  Unplug the power cord for at least 2 hours.  Then try again. But don't expect miracles; it may or may not help.
