Question
This problem just started. After 10-15 minutes the audio will go off. The systems appear to be working. The volume will still adjust but no sound. Turning the car off and on the audio will resume but only for a few minutes. I'm thinking it may be the audio amplifier. If so how do you replace it?

Answer
there is a factory amplifier right side of the glove box or under the seat,
one channel is bad when the amplifier goes over 115 degres ( HOT )  it shuts down to protect the rest,
amplifier needs to be repair, or replace,  if you need to buy a new unit, pull it out first
and match the part number there are 3 diferent unit for your vehicle

check with united radio or oemautosound  or any local electronic shop in your town to repair the unit
