Question
We were able to remove changer but the little white teeth will not push out the cd holders to install cd, they stay inside the changer, should we try to replace the cartridge only?

Answer
Yes, this ford magazine is known for malfunctioning.

You should replace it with a new magazine and see if that solves the problem.  If it does not then there are other problems with the actuating mechanisms or servo system that enables the magazine to move the discs around.

You can buy new and replacement magazines at PartyDown:

http://www.partydown.com/items/item352.htm

or OEM auto sound:

Goodbye.
