Question
Please can you advise as I currently have a hifi system built up with separate units, amp, cd player, double casstte and turntable and the speakers are front surround 3 way bass reflex.  I am however not happy with the bass output.  Is there anything I can buy to add to the system that would increase the bass output or would I be best buying a new system.

Answer
purchase a powered subwoofer and you'll be happy. i use the 250 watt radio shack sub and it produces more than enough bottom end. if you dont have a sub out on your amp, make sure you get the kind of sub that you run your speaker wires to and then from sub to speakers.
