ANSWER: It must be reset. This will solve the problem unless the memory chip has been damaged.

To reset, remove all power from the cd player for at least 20 minutes before powering up again.

Hope that works.

QUESTION: tried that no luck i know the cd player works because i hooked the red and yellow to postive and the black to neg and got the cd out also before i sparked the wires the cd player was having somekind of electric problem coming from the car because i could not get the cd out and sometimes it wouldnt come on weird but when i moved the wires around in the wire harness that comes from the car it worked also i use a volt meter and there is no power coming from the yellow wire

Answer
Well, you must check the wiring for loose pins in the connectors or shorted places such as a hair wire sticking out the side and touching metal or something like that.  Also, you could have blown a fuse somewhere in the works.  There are probably two fuse blocks in your car; usually there is one under the hood and another inside under the dash between the steering column and the drivers door.

Look into that.

PS: The yellow wire is for acc off the ignition; you should get 12v only after ignition is in acc or on position, I think.
