Question
im trying to hook up my tv to my stereo while using an off air antenna i want the sound from tim tv to pass through my stereo i have a samsung plasma tv  with a built in digital tuner

Answer
Without a model number we can only give generic information.  Every tv is different so without the model number we cannot look up its technical profile.

The audio cables go from the TV audio OUT red and white jacks to the audio IN red and white jacks on the stereophonic receiver, amplifier or surround sound system.

Some tvs require the menu to be set for external audio - which shuts off the tv internal speakers and directs the audio to the external output jacks.

Then, the receiver must be set to select the audio input that is connected to the tv.

All the best.
