Audio Systems/cd stuck in player

Question
How do I remove CD 2004 Dodge Durango? RDS is printed on the cd radio combo

Answer
Sometimes it is easy, sometimes very difficult.  First try a disconnect of power.  You can do it either by pulling the battery cable off or if you can find the power wire that feeds the cd player pull it off. With power removed for 15 minutes it will reset itself when you power it back up.  If that does not help, try holding down the play and eject buttons simultaneously.

Then, if you still need help, try some of the answers from other users.  You can get lots of ideas by googling these words:

removing stuck cd from car stereo

In the worst case the head unit must be pulled, covers removed and the cd manually extracted from the play mechanism.

Hope this helps.
