I recently purchased a 91 3000gt am/fm tape/cd combo to replace my defective am/fm tape on my 92 dodge stealth (has static problems,tape player ok). Installation was easy except of course, I do need some type of harness adapter. My 92 stealth only has a two plug harness and when I plugged it in the 91 3000gt unit, I got power, but no sound. There is a black square plug along with a round black plug on the 3000 gt unit near the identical looking plugs from my stealth unit that I feel sure play a part in this problem. To sum up, 2 plugs on stealth radio plus antenna connection. 4 plugs on 3000gt unit 2 same as stealth unit, 1 more square plug and black round plug I guess for cd and equalizer and then antenna connect.?Can you help me? thanks

The wiring diagrams above should help you sort out which wires are going where.

You may have to hunt around for your exact model and year for the right harness/cable pieces.
