Question
hello mr. tapia! i have a samsung ht c550 and 2 jbl movie tlx surround speakers and one jble tlx center. can i use the jbls on the samsung receiver? the samsung speakers are 4ohms and the jbls are 8 ohms. thanks!

Answer
It really depends on the receiver. If the speaker outputs can deal with 8 ohm loads, then you should be fine. Many receivers allow a range of speaker impedance ratings. If it does not, however, I would advise against it. Check the manual or the speaker output terminals - it should say right there what the "ohms" are for the outputs.
