Question
i was installing my subs in my back seat and i was drilling in the plate of the inside of my truck and all of a sudden my entire radio goes off ...and it looks like the illumination wires came loose... can u explain to me how to hook them back up to where i can see the illumination on the radio

Answer
Sorry for the delay; been out of town for a few days..

Maybe you have solved the problem by now.

You must connect the wires up that provide the illumination.  The most sure way - not a good idea to just guess - is to consult with the wiring diagrams/color codes for your xplod and for your car.

You can find the installation manual for all Sony xplod products on the Sony.com downloading sites.

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DOCS&PRODTYPE=10

And to get the wiring chart for your car you can start here:

http://www.mobileinformationlabs.com/Wiring%20Diagrams%20Directer.htm

Or, you can google the car and year of your vehicle.

Let me know if you need further guidance.
