quick question.  I'm doing a new home theater install where I plan on putting my amps in the room below my home theater so the fans can run without distracting noise etc. and keep the reciever up in the home theater area.
The question is what to use for RCAs between floors.
I want to use a wall plate with 6 solderable RCAs and I've already found that. but for wire the choices seem to be either cut the end off prefab RCA cables. or use cable like this:

my only concern with this type of cable is that both conductors are inside the shield and I'm concerned with crosstalk etc.  the description says its perfect for making RCA and TRS cables but it's just not the type of construction I'm used to seeing for RCA cables.

if you know of anything better (and in the same price range or better) let me know.
or if you think this will be perfect, let me know as well.

You actually want a coaxial cable for use with RCA connectors.
The cabling you're showing is designed for balanced audio lines, and RCAs are strictly unbalanced.

I recommend using a cable like Belden 1505F.
