Audio Systems/Audio Mixer

Question
How would I go about adding an input for external audio (iPod, Computer) to my Audio Mixer Console? What wires and or adapters would I need, and where can I find these?

Answer

Mini
If your mixer has a standard hiZ line input it should match the level of the output of most portable devices.  Thus, you only need a cord with the right ends or adapter plugs to match the output jack of the player to the input jack on the mixer.

For example, if you have RCA inputs somewhere on the mixer and your mp3 player has the miniature stereo plug you can solve that with a cord going from stereo mini to stereo rca.
