Audio Systems/crack in speaker

Question
QUESTION: I have 1 12 inch diamond sub. It has a crack in the seal of the surrounding.  There is no crack in the cone or anything, just in the seal between the 2. Is there anything I can use to fix the seal? And I have another issue. I have a sony cd player in my explorer that does not have rca hook ups in the back. I got a box from a friend that hooks up to the back speaker wires and converts it to rca. It sends a signal to my amp only when the radio is on. But not when I listen to a cd or my aux.  Is the problem with my cd player or that box? The amp only turns on when the radio is on not anything else.

ANSWER: flexible glue for the speaker  and the radio problem is just the wrong wire there are 2 blue wires on the radio harness just switch them
