Question
I recently let a friend use my truck, when i got it back there was a CD stuck in the player. I was working to get the CD out and it started to read it, the track came on the display but never played. I got the CD out and now when i turn the tuner on I just get a green light where the station should be. There is no volume control, station display. It seems nothing is working besides the power knob and the displays. It will take cassettes and cd's the cd's get stuck and the cassettes will not play. Thank you for your time

Answer
Have you tried a reset?  Do this by removing total power from the head unit and associated electronics.  Easiest way is to pull a cable off the battery - which will kill all the power to the truck.  Keep it off for 15 minutes.  Make sure the radio is OFF before you pull the power.

Let me know if this does not solve the problem.  (In which case you may need a replacement radio unit).

Hope this helps.
