Question
Display cover for led display on cars cd unit was smashed while hauling 2 by 4's ,where can I find a replacement for this plastic cover or screen? I do not know proper term to use for this part?

Answer
Maybe from the Ford dealer.  Check with them.

It is probably a very difficult part to find and very expensive. It maybe, in my opinion, less expensive to just buy a new radio and install it yourself.

If the radio is still working ok you may be able to just cover it with a transparent protection material.

PS: When you go to Ford, be prepared to give details of the car and if possible the model number of the radio.  Ford uses several different makes and models of radios in the same year and model car.  They may be able to give you the manufacturer of the radio and where you can go to get parts.

PPS:  You can go to oemautosound.com to see if they have a replacement radio to fit your car.  They sell replacement radios for most models at around $160 to $200.  If you don't see your model on their page you can call them.  Also, try "outfit my car" at crutchfield.com where they will list radios that will fit your car.
