Audio Systems/Auto Backup Camera

Question
I recently installed a backup camera on my car and notice sometimes when the car is in reverse and the camera activated the navigation screen in the car will show what looks like electrical interference lines on the screen. The power for the camera is taken from the rear backup light. Is there any type of in-line filter I can install to eliminate this?

Answer
You could try getting the power from a different circuit in the car.  And, yes, there are filters of many kinds to try.

You can google for such filters and find listings from Pyramid, Amazon and others. Here is one  that has been reported to have worked well for automobile mounted backup cameras:

The price is right!

Hope this helps.
