Question
I DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND THE RADIO WENT INTO LOC MODE.  SOME SILLY ASS THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM  I DID MANAGE TO GET A 4 DIGIT NUMBER TO SHOW UP AND WAS TOLD TO CALL AN 800 NUMBER TO RETRIEVE THE FACTORY CODES TO UNLOCK THE THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM.  CAN'T GET ANYWHERE WITH THE INFO I HAVE.  GOT ANY IDEAS FOR ME?

that is how it works with the GM delco radios, to get the code you need to read the owner manual and get two set of codes and with that information you call the number and they will give you the code they only charge $20.00  or you can go to your local dealer they ca do it for you but it will cost you 1 hour labor fee
