Question
i have a JVC KD-S37 and a panasonic cq-c8100u car stereos. i have tried installing both of them in my 94 jeep cherokee and i cannot get any power to either one of the stereos what so ever so I'm trying to figure out if its a wiring problem with my jeep and if so is there a way i can transfer the power around the wires to where i can have it safely hooked up to my stereo?

Here, below, are color code wiring for your jeep.

Then, you must pull the manuals for the radios and make sure you match the wiring of the radio unit with the wiring of the vehicle.

Mostly, this is easily done with a wiring harness made for your car.  Often you can find them, at least the most popular ones, at Walmart and such places.  Try also, Crutchfield or installer.com as they carry all these kinds of things as well.

You can usually find the installation manuals for the JVC and Panasonic radios, if you have lost them, from retrevo.com if not from the factory help webs.

Good Luck.  Let me know if you need more.
