Audio Systems/Factory Stereo in a 2001 Ford Escort ZX2 & iPhone hook-up


Is there a way to connect my iPhone4 to my factory stereo? I have a 2001 Ford Escort ZX2. It is the factory stereo with a 6 disc CD changer in trunk. Here is the wiring diagram if needed:

Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Blue/Black

Car Stereo Antenna Trigger: N/A
Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: White/Orange
Car Stereo Amplifier Location: Under the driver seat.
Car Audio Front Speakers Size: N/A
Car Audio Front Speakers Location: N/A
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Violet
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Blue/Orange
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Blue/White
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): White
Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: N/A
Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: N/A
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): White/Blue
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Red/Blue
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): White/Green
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Blue

You will need an iPhone adapter kit.

The above page shows an iPhone adapter kit that may work with your car - but it is quite an old vehicle and I am not sure if it will work for you car or not.  Before purchasing the adaptor you should contact the seller and get their assurance if it will work in your 2001 Escort.
