Audio Systems/6 cd changer

Question
Hello,
I have a 2002 Ford Explorer, with a stock in dash 6 cd changer. Today I went to load a cd into the slot, and it loaded almost all the way in, but then stopped and said "cd error." If I look into the slot, I can see the cd, level with the slot. My question is, is there any way to maybe push it the rest of the way in, or get it to eject? I don't want to just start jamming stuff in there and break it... Any help is appreciated.

Answer
Hi Tim
Never force anything, you will break it.
Remove the changer and undo the small screws holding the top on and pop it off so you can see inside, check for bits and crud in the works, Blow anything out, NEVER poke!If you cannot see anything leave the unit out and take it in for an expert to look at as they are delicate and normally die after 3 or 4 years anyway.
