Question
Hello, i was looking to get a new deck installed, and i was informed by 2 places that they woudl need to rewire the whole car ($200) because the speakers were amplified, and that it would blow the deck in a few months if i didnt. NOTE: i do not have the bose system in this car. So im wondering if this is true or are they trying to get money out of me..

thanks
shae

Answer
this is the case in the bose system
or if the rear deck said active speaker   but there are interface available for this and in plugs and labor it will be under $100.00
call  1-888-231-0395 to see if they still have the interface for maxima or check metra web site
