Question
Hope you can help.  We just purchased a 1996 Ford F250.  It has an after market Alpine 6 CD changer.  It is missing the CD magazine, the remote and the instruction booklet.  It has the Remote sensor.  The Model is CHM-S601.  If I purchase a magazine, is it possible to run the CD player or do I need the remote too.  Thanks for your help!

Answer
yes you need the remote if there is no play button on the display
some have power ,play, back, forward buttons on the display and older models have a power button only  you can buy both from the same place this is the link for the cd magazine
it shows ford but it will work for your cd changer
