Audio Systems/Blown fuse

Question
I have a cheap Apex DVD\Surround. And after I moved recently it doen't work, power comes on reads disc but sends no signal to speakers or tv.
I opened it up and saw a blown fuse, I then bought new ones and when I plugged it in, it was fine but as soon as I put in disc the fuse blew.
Can you diagnos the problem? Can I fix myself?

Thanks Doc

Answer
sounds like the disc spin motor or drive circuitry is bad. since you said it's a cheap one,(which apex is) i recommend shelling out just a few more duckies for a longer lasting brand. if it doesn't come with at least 1 year parts and labor warranty, do not buy. G......
