Question
Hi Ernesto

I have a Japanese Toyota windom 1997, that I purchased through an importer. It has cd player and cassete player and also a 6 cd stacker, all attached to a common panel (which has a screen). The screen panel opens when we put casette inside.Unfortunately, today, when I pressed the open button to open that screen panel to put the cassete in, it strucked/jammed.And does not goes upward for closing. The screen is not glowing/no light in it, only the cassete player works and plays the cassete but the volume switch in the screen panel works and we can adjust the volume of the cassete.Thats the first time I opened that screened panel as I never knew how to put the cassete inside. I dealt with everything very delicately so there are very less chances of mishandling. Please let me advice about it.

Answer
hi the right track is out or gear out
you are going to need to open the unit remove the cd player be very carefull, remove the cassette deck  untill you get to the bottom of the unit  there is two tracks for the face and one motor  very small
two things happend  the motor  gear is out
or the  right bracket is out of track
sometimes the little plastic pieces get damage
in case you need parts this radio was made by eclipse or fujitsuteen
good luck

also when face is open most of controls and face are off so there is nothing wrong with that at the moment
