Audio Systems/Car Radio in Garden

Question
Hi,

I have just built a large deck in the garden and wondered if it was possible to use an old car head unit with a couple of speakers outside.

There is a power supply on the deck so i am looking for help/suggestions regarding housing the head unit and supplying DC. If there is such a thing as an external caddy i would be interested or i can try and build something. It would not be a permanent installation.

Thanks

Answer
Hi Jackie,
I made one from an old toolbox once, small 12v alarm battery inside, 12v and acc leads connected together to battery, earth the other side. I recharge when needed and a 4" speaker in each end. Imagination, wonderful thing ;-)
Have fun Peter
