Question
I unhooked my step-daughters car battery last night.  Her stereo now says "code" when you turn it on.  We bought the car used and do not have a owners manual.  It is a 2001 Honda Civic EX 2 door.  Can you tell me what I need to do to get the stereo working?

Answer
you need to remove the radio and get the model of the radio and serial number  then call your local dealer and give them the information or fax it to the service depaertment with a copy of the vehicle registration and id
they will fax you the code
