Question
My car has a radio that works when hhoked up directly to a test speaker. When hooked up to the car speakers I get a bloop sound when the radio is turned on and a bloop sound when the radio is turned off. I discinnected all the speakers and even if one is attached it will do the same thing. Any thoughts?

Answer
Hi Russell,
Not a lot to go on here, no make, model, (radio or car,) amps or no amps??? Do all 4 channels work when hooked up?
If it's a simple system with 4 speakers in the car fed by pairs of wires directly from the radio then either the wires are faulty, (try new wires) or the car's speakers are blown, (try your known good test speaker on the end of the cars speaker wires). If there is an inline amp it could be there is no signal from the radio to the amp, process of elimination really but ONE step at a time, if it doesn't fix it go back a step and try the next or you will get to a point where it works but you don't know why.
Good luck, Peter
