Audio Systems/Cassette deck in Toyota Tacoma 1997

Question
I have a cassette adapter in my car so I can listen to my Ipod while I'm driving. This morning when I got in, the tape was clicking really obnoxiously. I had a previous tape doing the same thing and when I replaced the cassette tape, that ended the noise. However, today when I did that, it just started flipping the tape back and forth, trying to play it, and after four times, it spits the tape back out.

Any suggestions?

Answer
the radio was made to listen to tapes only 22 minutes per side not electronic devices  the radio don't like the platic tape or the sensor detects that there is no tape i will suggest replacing the radio to 1998 model

all toyota radios from 1998 and up have a plug in the back for AUX or to use a ipod interface
