I have a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 and I noticed on the factory stereo there is an auxiliary button, I was wondering if it would be possible to attach some sort of wire so that i can connect my mp3 player through the stereo, if this is possible please tell me what I would need and how I would go about removin  g the dash to get to the stereo, thank you

Yes you can install an adaptor, check with sites like PIE, scosche, Periperal, or blitz-safe for what you need.
as for the dash try this site (it's pontiac, but should be close enough to get you going);
