Question
QUESTION: I just purchased 2007 Chrysler Pacifica that has an OEM navigation system and 6 disc in dash CD changer. Do you know of any aftermarket car stereos that interface with the Nav system and the cd changer? From what I have seen, the Nav system is the main stumbling point. I assume it is the talking feature that is the main issue. I have 2 XM accounts and would prefer to use a stereo that will accept an XM tuner over a Sirius tuner.

ANSWER: don't understand your question if you have a nav radio
why you want a aftermarket car stereo ?

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Sound quality and features. The stock radio is quite dull for such a nice vehicle and even cheap aftermarket radios are usually much better sounding than stock radios. Plus, I also want to add XM to the vehicle. I found a site called Precision interface Electronics, but they don't currently make an interface box for this vehicle. Any other sites that you are aware of that address issues like this? I'm wondering how or if this can be done without eliminating the talking navigation feature?

Answer
if you remove the factory radio you lose the nav system  because they are one piece o there is no need to look for any interface

if under the radio you have a 6 disc cd changer any mbuss alpine radio will control if it is a single cd DVD  you need to remove from the vehicle under the unit there is a white sticker with all the pin configuration from the plug
solder 3 RCA jack and get the 4 power wires this unit works with any radio  you will plug the audio from the dvd ,(RCA JACKS YOU SOLDERED IN THE BACK ) to the aux input of new radio this also play regular cd's

we  are part of PIE  and there are no plans for your vehicle in the future sorry
