Question
I am experiencing a clicking noise threw my guitar amp. This is not the only device that does this, my cordless phone also experiences the same problem. What could be causeing this problem?

Answer
sounds like your residence has a wiring problem of some kind, or there's something drawing high current switching on and off nearby. first take amp somewhere else to prove it's only happening at your place, then i'd call the power company and tell them that you are recieving abnormal undesired electrical interference and could they come and investigate. to prove it's not being caused by something else of yours, turn amp up enough to hear it through your place, and start unplugging everything just to verify that you aren't also causing the interference. do this before calling power company, if they find that you are causing problem, they will charge you heavilly for the service call. good luck, these cases are hard to solve at times.....
