Question
My 2 year olf daughter decided to place some coins in the factory cassette player on our 2001 Dodge Caravan. We cannot eject the tape that is in the player and now there is no display and the front speakers are not working. Any ideas on how to repair would be very much appreciated.

Answer
the coin is in front of tape behind the display and
there is nothing wrong with the tape at this point and it is only making a small short on the face  remove the radio remove the face and take the coing out if you have to take the tape of there is 4 small screw holding the tape  there is morew than one coin in the radio

kids do this all the time there are radios that die in a second and other radios that survive, chrysler is one of them keep the radio off until you can remove it
