Audio Systems/Eclipse head unit: dimmer or illumination?

Question
I am installing an Eclipse 55040 in a 95 Lumina.  I have connected the wires from the wiring harness adapter to the deck with the orange "illumination" wire connected to the corresponding orange "illumination" wire, but the "dimmer" wire on the harness does not have a corresponding wire on the deck, where do I connect that wire?  Also, I am running amps off of the deck, so the speaker wires on the harness are useless, do I just tape those off so they don't ground, or do I need to connect them to something else?

Answer
since you are using amplifier you only neet to wire the power grouns remote and ilumination wires
there is 2 ornage wires on  most gm vehicles
ilumination and  dimer
ilumination gives you 12 volts when parking lights are on
dimmer the voltage goes from 3 volts to 12 volts and can be adjuste together with the dash lights
it is posible that the harness is missing one cable but it is on the gm plug  i will give you a link to the wiring instruction
