Question
I have Ford Explorer with Premium AM/FM Stereo/Cassette/Single CD. I have bought Motorola hands free IHF1000 and installed it. Now I am looking for this diagram to connect 3 wires from IHF1000: MUTE, AUDIO+ and AUDIO-. I can not find anywhere pin diagram for this radio. Can you help me?
Power Black plug
With catch on top work from right to left. Pin 7 marked on plug with a 7
Pin Number Colour Description
1 Red 12V Permanent Feed
2 Brown (thin) Earth
3 Yellow 12V Switched Feed (Accessory)
4 Grey / Yellow Illumination
5 Brown/yellow Unknown/ Not used
6 Brown (thick) Earth
7 Not used (sometimes mute)
Pin 5: brown/yellow is not always there on some models. mine do not have this and the
Haynes manual says nothing about it. it does not match up with any pin on the ISO.
