Audio Systems/Face doesn't work

Question
I know this is an aftermarket question, but it's hopefully not that much trouble. I have a kenwood stereo that (kdc-9017) the face is not opening properly nor is it accepting the cd I try to put in once I get the face to come down. Suggestions?

i am sorry i don't know what the problem is on that radio i know this
kenwood radios that the face move,they have a flat ribbon cable under the face  since the face moves all the time
if you replace that cable,it will fixs most of the problems
