In one ocassion it played the CD for alittle while then it stoped and havent play any eversince. I can hear the magazine reading the cd but it wont play. I had try the headphones and it has no sound. The radio works great but the Tape ( cassette) will play find but with sound on the right side only. Can you tell me what can be wrong with it?

Thank you much.
Jaime

Answer
HI
if the cd is playing and you can see the display with the disc number and track number nothing is wrong with the cd changer  it is the RCU TUNNER BOX  but if you put 6 disc on the cd changer and it look at all the disc and then the radio shows no disc,no dj,no mag, that means that the cd changer is defective

if the tape player plays only on one side try a tape cleaner or move the balance to the other side and increase the volume
if there is sound but low you need to clean the tape deck
if there is no sound from that side  it is the RCU/TUNNER BOX

this rcu tunner is in the rear right of cargo area behind plastic panel dealer wants about $500.00 for that unit
you can find it here for $80.00  www.oemautosound.com

good luck
