Audio Systems/Infinity System 1990 Caravan

Question
I have transplanted an Infinity Sound System (amp, and wiring harness) from a 1995 Chrysler LHS to a 1990 Caravan.  Physically everything appears to be OK.  The problem is no front to rear fade control.  Side to side control is marginal and seems to be more prevelant to the left front.
The 1990 Caravan was NOT originally equipped with Infinity Stereo but I have the Infinity harness from another 1990 Caravan (Relay, Choke, and speakers with amps)
The radio (head unit?) was missing from the doner LHS so I am using the cassette/tuner from the 1990 Caravan.  Fade controls are the outer ring of the tuning knob.  Connectors match and i downloaded a wiring diagram from our local library to check colors.
The amp has been bolted under the driver's seat and ground wire was connected to a convenient screw.  All wires have been carefully crimped.
I returned from the junkyard with a complete set of (7) Infinity speakers from the LHS.  The radio was also missing from this LHS so I picked up a dolby cassette Infinity radio from a 1988 Dynasty.  Key feature on the dolby radio is a "joystick" speaker control.  Am I on the right track?  Will this cure my fade problems?
I am also curious the ground bolt/strap has an additional spade on on it.  I believe it was a yellow/blue wire separate from the speaker plugs.  Also interesting is what appears to be a 7-pin female connector and a connector that looks like it came from my computer.  I think I am seeing 10 or 12 pins.
I know it kind of sounds like a mess but can you help?

Answer
wow not to many people do this
i took the system out of a 300m 2002 and install it in a 99 dodge caravan with 10 speaker
you are in the right track the problem is that you need the amplifier and head unit from the same vehicle or at least same generation infinity amplifier come in in 4 5 7 8 and 10 channels in your case your old radio internally they share the ground for right and left only 2 grounds for 4 speakers
that is the reason  why the fader didn't work  here is a link of some of the colors
