Question
I have an 03 eclipse and they have the infinty speakers and cd player in them.  But also they have that built in amp under the seat I was told that you have to bypass the amp somehow....do you have any suggestions

Answer
Hi Ryne
Why by pass the amp??? But.....
The amp has a low level input from the radio (RCA leads) and high level outputs from the amp to the speakers,
remove the RCA leads between the radio and the amp and the amp its self (and insolate or remove any live wires). You now only need to connect the radio's high level output (8 speaker wires) to the speakers directly with twin core speaker wires.
If the radio to amp connection is by high level (speaker) wires then remove the amp and join the high level from the radio to the speaker wires that were on the amp's output.

Recommend to disconnect the battery before playing with live units.
