Audio Systems/Ipod interface

Question
I have a 2005 GMC Envoy with a factory stereo and Onstar.  Recently I had an after market IPOD interface installed which works through the XM 1 & 2 Bands on the radio.  After installation however I notice the clock radio will reset frequently to 12:00 upon starting the vehicle.  It doesn't do it every time but when it does the engine is slow to turn over and the clock resets.  Any ideas on what is wrong with the wiring?

there is nothing wrong with the wiring ,  i seen that happens a lot lately  if you are using the peripheral or the ipod2car interface this is what best buy and circuit city are using now  the best interface now is the  usa specs
