I have the JVC Receiver KD-AR5000 touch screen. My problem is it won't play my cd's right know. It plays the radio fine,but when you place a cd into it, it will eject it soon afterwards. When you press the middle to bring up the options cd/tuner/in line/cd-ch everything is in black except the tuner. What can I do to get this thing to do to play my cds again?

KD-AR5000, kool piece of kit, BUT,, prone to CD lazer head misalignment, ribbon cable breakage between flip screen and main unit, (my Kenwood mask had the same problem) and crud in the head assembly.
Try a head cleaning disc first. If the head cannot read the CD and find track zero (index) it will spit it out after a few seconds of trying. Then I would normally remove the unit, pop off the lid and check visually for dust fluff, crud, small children, etc. in the head unit, do NOT poke anything or you will upset the tracking of the head unit). Failing that it's a repair shop job.
