Audio Systems/JVC cd reciever

Question
I recently installed a JVC cd reciever into a 2000 chrysler grand voyager.
Everything works fine except the player spits every cd I put in just after it
starts the 'play' sequence. It may just be broken, but the stock tape player did
the same thing. Is there anything about the car that I should check or maybe the
wiring of the reciever? Please email me with any ideas, I appreciate it.

Answer
Hi Peter,
JVC? what?
All you can do is check the three lives and earth.

Which are;

12v permenant
12v acc/ignitiom
12v OUT when radio is on
Earth

If it was just the CD player that did it I would say a faulty head unit but if the tape deck did the same,(load/unload) it sounds like a car fault, but I have been fooled before.
It is VERY difficult to diagnose on-line and I could probably put my finger on it in ten seconds flat if there, but I'm not, so it's a guess.
Peter.
