Hi Ernesto
I have recently had to disconnect the battery from my Beetle (2002), and now the stereo cant see the CD player, well it did  once, but even then the controls for the CD player didn't work, any ideas what I need to do to get the Unit to find the multidisc UNit

go in the trunk unplug the cd changer,
unplug the battery for about 30 minutes plug the battery listen to the radio for a couple of minutes,
unplug the battery again overnight  
in the morning plug the cd changer NO MAGAZINE
plug the battery  go in the trunk and insert a cd magazine full  turn on on the radio and enter the code
most likely it will work again
if not the cd changer needs to be replace or repair
