Question
I have a 98 F 150 radio was working fine the day before, then got in it the next day and it wouldn't do anything, the display read FM12 and below it read AM something don't recall at the moment it is the original factory system, I did have to disconnect the battery a coupl of days ago, and a friend suggested it my be code locked, how can I tell if it is

HI I  am sorry to tell you but it is a bad TTLCMOS chip inside the radio can not be fix or it will be very expensive
it will be better to buy a new aftermarquet radio from any car audio store or if you like the original radio look here
