Question
I recently installed a new Pioneer DEH 4800 CD player in my 2002 chrysler sebring and now the radio is distorted and full of static, although it does work fine in some areas. When I installed the new deck I had to use a Chrysler antenna adaptor but it didnt solve the problem. Any idea on how to fix this problem?

Answer
Hi Jeff,
You definetnly have an antenna problem, double check your coax cable and connections from end to end, don't assume because both ends are ok it is in the middle, as I have had one with an in-line connector under the passengers carpet come adrift. I very much doubt it is the head unit.
