Question
Hi,
The push on vol control on my radio quit working.
The unit is fairly easy to take out. Is it feasible to find and solder in a new pot?

The radio and controls are in a square unit
that mounts in the upper dash. Below however,
is the cassettee insert, in a spacious rectangular
space. Have you ever seen an insert that had both CD and cass that would fit down there? I have to replace the cass as well since it quit working
quite awhile ago. I know I could just get a new CD/Mp3 radio and install it where the cass sleeve is, and put a storage 'box' where the original square unit was,  but I need the cass occasionally.

what are you trying to do replace it or fix it ?
the cassette can be remove and you can install a new radio there you also have to find the rcu tunner amplifier under the dash and run the cable to the radio
the unit at from ( controler ) can stay there so the dash looks ok
here are some instructions with some bad pictures if you can take better pictures please send them to my
